Pierre Bédard, MBA, CPA, CGA

Pierre Bédard has over thirty years of experience in management and financial strategy. Since the founding of Amerequipe, he has completed over one hundred mandates with Small-Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and large companies. In the context of rapid growth, he held a senior management position in finance and administration at ADS Associates Ltd. (a company involved in engineering, construction, manufacturing, technology) and Premier CDN Enterprises Ltd. (peat moss and related products manufacturing and distribution). As an investment manager with the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, Mr. Bédard has developed solid experience in company financing and has overseen nearly $300 million in venture capital and private investments. During his career he has also worked in the banking sector with the Toronto-Dominion Bank and Bank of Montreal.

Mr. Bédard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Université de Sherbrooke (1984). He also completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School (1993). He is a member of the Ordre des CPA du Québec.

Marie-Claude Fortin, CFA

Marie-Claude Fortin has more than fifteen years of experience in financial analysis and administration. She has specialized in financial modeling for over 12 years, during which she created more than 100 financial models for a variety of businesses. Her expertise has helped companies of all sizes and in many sectors at different stages of development.

Prior to consultation, Ms. Fortin served as director of finance and administration for manufacturing companies, and held the positions of financial analyst and investor relations director for a telecommunications company. She began her career as a financial analyst at the Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, in the private placement group.

Ms. Fortin has a Bachelor in Business Administration from the Université de Sherbrooke (1991) and an MBA with a specialization in Finance (M.Sc.) from the Université de Sherbrooke (1992). She also holds the professional designation of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) (1996).
